Final Logo Designs
For my design I needed a logo to go with a business called Hair in Motion. This business is a hair salon that comes to your house so you do not have to leave the house. First of all, in order to get across that it is a Hair Salon I wanted the logo to be hair related. This then resulted in having the logo be a woman with hair flying in the wind. With having the hair in the wind it will remind the consumer that the business is called Hair in Motion. Due to the busyness of the uncontrollable hair, I decided the face should be much simpler. So the use of having only have of the face shows the simplicity. The soft red lips are meant to compliment the bright orange hair. While the green eye is to be opposite of the red. As for the color scheme I wanted something bright to catch the attention. By having the simple woman’s face with the bright orange hair it grabs the consumer’s attention. Overall the whole design is very simple so people can quickly look at it and remember that the girl with orange hair is for Hair in Motion.
This other logo just includes the business name in it. The letters are bold and black so they do get lost in the bright orange. Also by using the end of the hair for the business name it allows the letting to be curly and wavy. So incorporating Hair in Motion into the logo picture was easy to do.

This is the logo for Honda. It is quite efficient first of all because it contains the “H” for Honda in its picture. Also at the time, no other brand had this design, but now Hyundai some what copied the idea. Another reason this is a good logo is because it is simple, there is not a lot of color or difficult design. So overall I believe they did a good job.
Every little kid has played with legos at some point or another. The logo Lego has is very kid friendly from its bright colors to fun font. Also this company has created its own font giving it an unique advantage against other toy companies. It grabs the attention from the beginning and there is no mistaking Lego’s for a different company.
Soda, everyone drinks it and there are lots of different brads out there, but one of the most famous ones is Pepsi. From its unique use of a circle with its aesthetically pleasing colors. With the use of bright colors it grabs the attention from viewers of all ages. Pepsi does an excellent job by the cool use of colors and simple design.
Target is quite clever with the idea for their logo. Due to the name of the company being target they decided to use a logo of a target. This was an easy way to get consumers to remember what the name of the business is. Also by only using two colors it is calm and showcases the target nice and clearly. Yet again, this is another example of a good logo.
The last logo I picked to analyze it she Adobe Photoshop logo. Even though this logo might not be as popular or famous as the others, those who know Adobe will recognize the logo immediately. Again with the minimum colors and simple design it yet again is a good logo. The font is an ordinary font that is pleasing to the eye. Overall the bright blue is recognizable for the Photoshop program.
